Nina and James | Bellingen

Nina and James first met back in November 2019 at Lighthouse Beach. Nina was captivated by James’ optimistic outlook on life, kind-hearted nature, and core family values, not to mention their shared joy of adventure in life. James was quick to realise how compatible their lives are and was drawn in by Nina’s huge heart, her love of the outdoors, and the way she lights up the room.

They couldn’t keep away from each other in the following weeks, with James moving into Nina’s tiny one-bedroom apartment shortly after. Before they knew it, weeks rolled into months, then months rolled into years.  As the family grew with one very cute JUG puppy Dexter, they moved into a larger home where they took on various home improvements and DIY projects. They have spent many holidays, long weekends, and days off exploring as much of Australia's hidden treasures as they can, along with their own beautiful backyard of Port Macquarie.

In December 2021, James took Nina back to Lighthouse Beach for a sunrise walk where he got down on one knee and Nina said yes!
